It became apparent to us during our Kickstarter campaign that January was too specific a time frame for us to meet expectations, therefore we adopted a more broad projected release.ģ. ![]() We apologise for any confusion this may have caused. Kickstarter and Backerkit didn’t allow us to select a range for our release date so we optimistically selected an estimated delivery time of January. If you have been following our social media, devlogs or joined our Discord, you should be well aware that it has been our plan for some time to release Saurian to Early Access during the First Quarter of 2017 (January through March). We understand our backers can barely hold back their excitement to finally play Saurian, so we’d like to lay out for you exactly what is in store for pre-release backers. As you have probably noticed, January has come and gone, it is now mid-February, and Saurian is not sitting in your Steam library with several hundred hours of play time logged. – If you have any questions or need help, PLEASE use our BackerKit supportĢ. Please check your BackerKit survey if you need to make any changes to your payment information. First and foremost, we are announcing that all BackerKit pre-orders (unless you have used PayPal) will be charged February 28th. When in a pack, it becomes exponentially a bigger threat, not only because they can swarm you, but because they will be able to inflict bleed when in a pack.ĭakotaraptor can jump very high and far, as well as attack while jumping.1. If that isn't impressive I don't know what is Seriously, I've seen Utahraptor run away from their smaller cousins. Dakotaraptor can be a very useful mount to get around on, sure its too heavy to wall climb and glide like the deinonychus, an unfortunate downside, this creature definetly makes up for it by being the far superior creature in combat, in a pack they can tear through just about anything as long as it isnt a Acrocanthosaurus or Tarbosaurus. Tamed: If you manage to knock out one of these things and tame it, granted its not easy, since they protect eachother like siblings, though most likely packs of these things are siblings so i guess its understandable. They also have been seen fighting with deinonychus over nesting grounds, I wouldnt want to get in the way of that. They are extremely quick and agile, earning them a nickname as the "cheetah", ironically fitting, seeing as they have yellow skin and spots like a cheetah. Like normal raptors, dakotaraptor is deadly in a pack, unlike other raptors though, dakotaraptor is perfectly capable of taking on larger carnivores like carnotaurus and allosaurus by itself, though usually the two larger carnivores will come out on top. ![]() ![]() Wild: Deinonychus may be a deadly threat, but if you try to say that to someone whos survived a dakotaraptor attack, they will be sure to laugh, and to be fair, they have a right to, dakotaraptor is definetly the heavier built for combat raptor on the ark, for the love of the overseer, these things seem to survive everything. They do not back down, if you even THINK you heard one of these things barking, JUST START RUNNING!"ĭakotaraptor is a species of raptor in saurians evolved 2, it possesses the ability to jump very high (see image below) it also possesses a buff that is indicated by a orange glow around its headĭOSSIER_ "Like hyenas and lions, these pack hunters tussle and fight with acrocanthosaurus, trex, tarbosaurus and just about any large carnivore they come across.
